A. M. Engineering is a Florida firm that has been providing geotechnical engineering since 1993 for governmental entities and the private sector. In 2000 A. M. Engineering expanded into St. Lucie County and in 2007 opened our corporate headquarters to a new 9,000 square foot facility in St. Lucie West. Our Corporate headquarters is a 9,000 square foot facility with a fully equipped 3,000 square foot Florida Concrete Material Engineering Council (CMEC) certified and FDOT qualified laboratory .

CMEC and FDOT certifications...
In order to provide high quality, cost effective results to projects, we have a dedicated staff with extensive training and experience. Our personnel are in the Construction Training Qualification Program (CTQP) with FDOT. They have testing and inspection certifications in earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and drilled shafts. Our engineering department is qualified by FDOT to perform soil exploration, standard foundation studies, geotechnical classification and laboratory testing. Our laboratory for soil testing and construction materials testing is approved by FDOT and certified by the Construction Materials Engineering Council (CMEC).

Own a wide range of equipment...
We own a wide range of equipment to perform geotechnical explorations including three 20-ton trucks outfitted for Cone Penetrometer soundings, and two truck-mounted Standard Penetration Test drill rigs as well as smaller specialty equipment.

Many of the A. M. Engineering personnel have been providing geotechnical engineering and construction material testing services in South Florida for over 30 years. Our engineers and technicians are familiar with the local soil conditions and with the expectations of those needing our services.
